Her own personal struggles have inspired Stephoney to help those that she loves through many hard times. As a youth minister Stephoney is acutely in touch with the struggles of today’s youth.
“I am a first hand witness to the mistakes they make. So many young people feel as though they have no recourse and no one to help them correct the problems and move forward to a productive, prosperous life.”
Min. Stephoney believes that many of today’s youth feel as though they have no goals, no aim and no ideals and she strives daily to help prevent each young person that she comes in contact with from becoming “one of them” (a statistic)
Her greatest test was when one of her own family members was arrested and needed a chance to get his life back on track after being released. Stephoney and her then husband went to multiple companies and spoke to them on his behalf explaining his “situation”. he has since returned to school and obtained his GED. He now gainfully employed and is well on his way to accomplishing his goals. Stephoney realized that it was so easy to do this for him, but why wasn’t someone doing this for everyone’s child & she realized, “to borrow a phrase from my good friend & brother,
“If Not Me, Who?”
...and so CCIP was born.

*Carolina Community Intervention Program is looking to assist individuals who have suffered from circumstances taht have affected their lives and looking to improve their quality of life going forward.*
Stephoney Carr is working hard to help individuals such as, ex-offenders, unwed mothers, runaways, high school dropouts and the general Charlotte, NC public.
CCIP of Charlotte, NC has future plans to offer emergency Child Care services with a playground and children's park for those applicants in need. They also will be providing hot meals to the homeless. ...These will be wonderful future services of this organization.
